Who
My name is Kseniia Bimbashi.

I am an architectural and interior designer...and Revit coordinator... and Sustainability Lead... and ... I might be wearing a lot of different hats, but at the end I'm a curious, passionate person who likes to design.
It is my true passion, which I inherited from my parents.
What
Through my career I create convenient, ergonomic and beautiful spaces for people.
My projects come in a variety of scales and styles, ranging from a single room remodeling and private homes to 17-story business centers and athletics complex design. My day-to-day work includes exterior & interior design and documentation, presentation content and coordination with consultants & engineers, sustainability analysis and Revit management

Why
Design is a big part of my life. Even though my passion for design branches into several different directions (architecture, interior design, object design, graphic design, sustainability, etc,) people are always in the center of my design. I like to think about my design as a tool of empathy, way to understand people and learn from them. This side of my profession makes my work meaningful, and the puzzle solving nature of design keeps it always interesting.
Where
I started my career with a small personal practice as interior designer during my last years in the university in St.Petersburg (Russia). After graduation I was hired as an architect at the Architectural bureau “B2” where I worked for almost 4 years before moving to the USA.

My first job in Boston (the USA) was a paid 5 month internship as an architectural designer at LLC "Isgenuity". After getting my second Master degree (Interior Architecture) I was hired by Sasaki, where I work at the current moment combining the roles of architectural & interior designer, sustainability and Revit leader

When
Although my love for architecture started from childhood, it didn't become a clear career path until I applied for Master of Architecture program in Saint-Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering in 2006. I graduated as a architect-designer with a major in Design of the Architectural Space in 2012. Since then I worked as an architect up to my move to the USA in the end of 2016, which gave me 4+ years of professional experience in Russia

In the next two years I earned a Master of Interior Architecture degree from Boston Architectural College and graduated in 2019. Right after graduation I joined Sasaki where I currently still work, continuing my 3.5 years working experience in the USA
